I have always loved watching procedural crime tv shows. I like how episodes attempt to be grounded and how they sometimes take on themes borrowed from current societal issues.
One of my favorites is Law and Order.
Law and Order has six spin-offs including Special Victims Unit, Criminal Intent, Trial by Jury, LA, True Crime, and Organized Crime. I have only followed, aside from the original series, Special Victims Unit, Criminal Intent, and Organized Crime. I hope to get to the others sometime in the future.
