Sustainable, fast, and hassle-free commuting: towards a better way of moving in Berlin.

Kicking — off the first week at Ironhack’s UX/UI Bootcamp comes our first challenge: how to use design thinking to tackle a wicked problem such as city mobility. Or more precisely for my team: how might we organize the variety of people navigating the streets of Berlin to provide a more efficient and cleaner city?
Our solution? A weather-based navigation system that uses crowdsourced data to provide real-time updates on the status of the streets. Stay here to learn how we got to it.

What is the problem?

The brief was clear but, it was a huge question and in order to tackle it we needed to understand what was the state of Berlin’s mobility at the moment.
