Surviving Another Christmas
<p>The holidays can be hard for many of us, but for so many different reasons.</p>
<p>This year, I'm terribly sad about not having the energy or mobility to do what I used to do. I'm trying not to let all of that sadness show, however, for my nine-year-old daughter who's still so happy and positive about Christmas.</p>
<p>I’m also trying not to be too sad about the stuff she has to or gets to do without me. Last night, she went to a lantern festival at our local zoo. She was so giddy, and I’m genuinely happy she got to go.</p>
<p>It’s just bittersweet that I couldn’t be there too.</p>
