Surviving and Thriving

<p>When I am asked to do a podcast or interview, I often make a few bullet points that I think may be helpful for the interview. I wanted to share my outline from an interview I did with&nbsp;<a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/education-leadership-and-beyond/id1342413888" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Education Leadership and Beyond &mdash; Surviving and Thriving</a>.</p> <p>My Notes/Outline</p> <ul> <li>Fear of speaking out</li> <li>Originality is the fine art of remembering what you hear but forgetting where you heard it.</li> <li>Try to be correct; not necessarily politically correct.</li> <li>Freedom of speech gives us the right to offend others, whereas freedom of thought gives them the choice as to whether to be offended.</li> <li>Those who are determined to be &lsquo;offended&rsquo; will discover a provocation somewhere. We cannot possibly adjust enough.</li> <li>Be brave enough to start a conversation that matters</li> <li>Too many are being silent because of a fear of social out casting. This leads to the loudest being mistakenly perceived as being right.</li> <li>What happens is people can simply impose their own fears and regrets on everyone else.
