Moms are not superhero(ine)s
<p>“Remember, you have a doctor’s appointment at 9 AM, pick up at the bus stop for all three kids at 1:15 PM, and then tutoring for Pablo* and futsal practice for both Pablo and Alejandro at 5 pm,” I tap the color-coded agenda I had created for my husband. “The gift for Pablo’s tutor is on the dining room table, right beside his notebook which I pulled out for you.”</p>
<p>“Hmmmm,” he responds, his eyes never leaving the semifinal world cup game between Croatia and Argentina.</p>
<p>“Did you hear all of that?” I counter, my voice rising. I glance at my wrist watch: I need to leave for work in 5 minutes. I jab at the colorful agenda again.</p>
