Super Bowl LVIII Has Me Thinking About the Future of Football
<p><strong>I came up with this on the spot when I was on a live-streaming stoner comedy talk show called </strong><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQZTYbT1Wm8&t=3475s" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank"><strong>The Late Night Sesh</strong></a><strong>. We’re a few days away from Super Bowl 58, so we were discussing random football thoughts…</strong></p>
<p><strong>Anyway, you know how some football teams will hold open tryouts and once in a while a walk-on player will get drafted?</strong></p>
<p><strong>What if 11 or more football fans got together and started their own team?</strong></p>
<p><strong>They can travel around to various football stadiums on game day challenging established, professional teams to play them. It’s kind of like a ridiculous, “so crazy it just might work” idea… I do realize that. But there’s some sports fan poignancy to it.</strong></p>
