Staying the course, come what may; getting back into the game.

I’ve been working past retirement age for three years now. I didn’t ever aspire to drive carpool for daycares, it sort worked out that way. Before that I sold promotional stuff. But I got into taking toddlers to their daycares, it made a decent bit of change, and for a while I was able to still sell promotional items, at least until six years back. That all changed a few months ago. The daycare that I drove for exclusively hired a school bus, and I was out. I was given plenty of notice, and I thought I could make a go of it with smaller daycares, but that never happened. My income went down by two-thirds, which is quite a cut.
