How to Launch and Anchor a Stage Head

<p>What makes a stage head so different from a flake? After all, both platforms create an outdoor space and can serve as drying platforms for fish.</p> <p>Whereas a flake is on land or connects two buildings, i.e. the house and the store, a stage head is an extension of the fishing stage towards the ocean. In order to make it accessible to boats, even at low-tides, water still submerges part of the cribbing &mdash; the foundation supporting the platform.
