<p>As much as I’d like to avoid textbooks, I do use one. I won’t mention the name since it’s pretty outdated, full of typos and often proposes irrelevant vocabulary, but I somehow find myself drawn to it. It actually fills me with nostalgia for my first attempts at learning Spanish many years ago. Despite its drawbacks, I still find its teaching method effective.</p>
