<p>For an MLB front office, there are no days off. Whether it’s after game 162 or after the postseason, another season starts, the offseason. Just one year removed from an ALCS appearance, the Boston Red Sox found themselves in last place within the American League East Division. This is a big offseason for the Red Sox, a team with high aspirations, looming free agents, and some roster holes to fill. Will Chris Sale opt out of his contract? Will J.D. Martinez still call Fenway his home? Has Xander Bogaerts played his last game in a Red Sox uniform? There are a lot of avenues the Red Sox can take this offseason, and in this article, I will be proposing what I think is in the team's best interests in order to bolster their chances at obtaining their fifth World Series title in the 21st century.</p>
