The Sober Train — 3 weeks

<p>I&rsquo;ve been trying to get to this point for a while to be honest. My best streak this year was in January when I decided to have two weeks off for New Year. Since then I had been stopping and starting every few days. It was frustrating and I felt like a failure.</p> <p>One of the reasons I&rsquo;ve struggled to stop is that I&rsquo;ve never considered myself an &ldquo;alcoholic&rdquo; because in my mind that was someone who drank as soon as they woke up, all day and every day. Apart from on special occasions, such as parties or travel, I only ever drank in the evenings and never every day.
