<p>You’re the first to arrive in class and you see smoke coming out from a corner of the room. At that point you’ll tend to act as fast as you can to either report the smoke or try to do something about it.</p>
<p>Let’s take another scenario:</p>
<p>On arriving in class, you meet in other people seated. As you get to sit yourself, you notice smoke from a corner of the room. You look around and see that others noticed the smoke too, but none seem to care. At this moment you will tend to be more reluctant to act, assuming that someone else will.</p>
