A Short Cyclist — intro

I’m basically a short, female rider — it was reasonably easy to find a bike at a discount/department store to get going. I initially got a steel folding back from Aldi to chase the kids down in the park (nobody needs to know about my running technique ). It folds up and I can throw it in the car boot, no messing around with tow bar. Ezpz!

As the kids got older, their bikes got bigger, which no longer just all fit into the car boot. Then COVID pandemic happened, we couldn’t go too far, so we just ride from home to a park and back.

Where I live, in the suburbs outside of Sydney, Australia — there are hardly some bike lanes, but most requires transporting your bike somewhere to go for a ride. If you have a car with a tow bar and you know how to use it, that’s great, if not, back to square one. Yea… sometimes the whole riding thing is in the too-hard basket.
