How Scientists Found the Largest Plant on Earth — Sea Grass in Australia’s Shark Bay.

<p>The largest plant on earth is actually in the sea in Western Australia. A sea grass meadow in Shark Bay astounded researchers in 2022.</p>
<p>After conducting genetic testing, researchers realize that the meadow is actually a single plant, Posidonia australis, that has cloned itself.</p>
<p>The plant is also one of the oldest — it is at least 4,500 years old based on its size.</p>
