Use this guide to set up dashboards to monitor the performance and overall health of the TollGuru SDK and its associated endpoints
TollGuru SDK stores logs in AWS CloudWatch. To create dashboards, we parse the logs from CloudWatch log Insights and extract data to display on the dashboards. If you are unfamiliar with CloudWatch, you can learn more about CloudWatch dashboards using the official Creating a CloudWatch dashboard resource.
Our analysis dashboards can be divided into three sections:
- Performance Metrics
- Reliability Metrics
- Data Updation Metrics
Before moving forward, it is important to note that the dashboards utilize data directly from CloudWatch metrics as well as log insight data both from the TollGuru SDK & its endpoints.
Let’s start with setting up our analysis dashboards. The first dashboard we set up will be to measure the performance of SDK and its API endpoints.
