A Scottish football fan dropped in the MLS — what could go wrong?
<p>This could be an article in itself but….an area where I think Scottish football is <em>similar </em>is the overall standard.</p>
<p>It’s subjective I know but the top MLS sides would do really well in Scotland and vice versa — you could easily argue that Rangers or Celtic would always challenge for the title here but having witnessed first hand the 2018 TFC team who had just won MLS I have no doubt they would have been highly successful back home.</p>
<p>I’ll touch on the Designated Player nuance below but for all those who dismiss MLS, have you actually watched any of the games? There’s talent here undoubtedly. There’s even an argument that the bottom 6 in Scotland would struggle greatly in MLS.</p>
