Reby, the amazing scooter-sharing company from Barcelona.

Like everybody knows, in Lanai Partners, in our investment thesis, the founders are key to success, especially in the mobility industry where there are many competitors and the execution has to be excellent.

In this case, we had the opportunity to meet two amazing and complementary founders, Pep Gomez and Kiran Thomas from REBY.

Pep is very young but with a long entrepreneur experience because he launched his first startup at the age of 14 and also one of the more clever people that I know. Pep is the former founder of FEVER, currently the largest event discovery platform in the world and one of the first Spanish companies that got funding from very well know investors like Accel Partners, 14W Ventures, and Rakuten. After that, he was Chairman of NUMA Growth and currently he is a Senior Advisor at Mobile World Capital and a Board Member at ASICS, while at the same time he is launching REBY.

Kiran is a seasoned senior executive with large international experience. He worked as a consultant at Accenture in New York for 5 years, after that, he was part of the founding team that launched LINIO, a Rocket Internet Venture in Latin America, as Chief Product Officer, and his last position was the same role at PRIVALIA in Barcelona. He has a bachelor in computer science and an MBA from INSEAD.
