Opinion: Gun Laws: Where Do We Go From Here?
<p><strong>Another sad day has come and gone as a new school shooting has occurred, this time at a school in Perry, Iowa.</strong></p>
<p>Five people were wounded and two are deceased including the gunman and a 6th grader.</p>
<p>Perry, Iowa, is a town with around 8,000 people surrounded by corn fields on the northeast outskirts of Des Moines.</p>
<p>The shooter was a 17-year-old boy named Dylan Butler. Just hours before the shooting he posted an ominous tiktok video with a duffel bag at his feet and a caption that read: “Now we wait”.</p>
