A Robot Bartender Invaded My Home

The company my wife works for sent her a generous gift of this machine that makes adult beverages like Keurig does for coffee. This $300 gadget uses little pods for your beverage of choice and then mixes in the appropriate amount of booze. When there’s so much pain in the world, it makes me feel guilty to have a machine to make us drinks. As if alcoholism isn’t easy enough when you can pour booze into a glass from a bottle. Now we need a $300 robot to mix our drinks for us? It’s gross.

A robot vacuum is one thing. But when a robot bartender shows up at my house, we have a problem. This thing has invaded the sober sanctity of my home. Everyone has their triggers, and a machine that mixes and pours alcoholic drinks is a trigger for me.
