Why Am I Awake Right Now

<p>Right now it&rsquo;s 12:51 in the morning and I&rsquo;m not asleep even though I have to wake up at 7:30. I got into bed with high hopes I wouldn&rsquo;t be spending another night not being able to fall asleep.</p> <p>Normally I would take a melatonin and just shut my eyes then&nbsp;<em>boom!&nbsp;</em>I hear my alarm the next morning, but unfortunately, it&rsquo;s way too late to take melatonin.</p> <p>At the beginning of the school year, I was convinced I could turn myself into a morning person because I cursed myself with an 8:35 am class this year. Why do I do this to myself every year?</p> <p>I&rsquo;m a night owl at heart but I know I can turn myself into a morning person because I have done it before.
