Retirement Hobbies I’ve Tried So You Don’t Have To

<p>I have written that the two most important things in my life are&nbsp;<a href="https://medium.com/crows-feet/weather-and-lunch-8723d6a63f68?sk=c7c8efe48e6fd391ea733c63dea0553e" rel="noopener">weather and lunch</a>, and I&rsquo;ll stick with that. But the third most important thing is hobbies. And I&rsquo;ve had a lot of them.</p> <p>Wikipedia defines a hobby as &ldquo;a regular activity that is done for enjoyment, typically during one&rsquo;s leisure time. Hobbies include collecting themed items and objects, engaging in creative and artistic pursuits, playing sports, or pursuing other amusements.&rdquo;</p> <p>For today, however, I am throwing out the three specific examples that Wikipedia provides: collecting, art, and sports. I won&rsquo;t be talking about my rock collection, my bad watercolor paintings, my boring photographs, my terrible harmonica playing, or those sketch books I take on every vacation and bring home untouched.
