Portugal D7 visa residence permit appointment (post-Covid)

I was originally given an appointment back in November 2019, but because the consulate had informed me that SEF did not provide me with an appointment, I missed it. Fortunately, so long as you make an appointment prior to the expiration date on your visa, your stay in Portugal is legally extended until then, provided you do not leave the country in the meantime.
