For that matter, a desirable home to fit my needs.

Having owned a few homes from 2001 to 2019, they were exactly what I wanted and affordable. I sold my first home I lived in for 16 years for just over $40K what I paid for it, which was $152,000. This was in 2018. Not a great investment, but it suited my needs at the time.
