NFL Toronto Owls Owned by Rapper Drake

Drake, the acclaimed rapper, actor, writer, and businessman, has conquered the music industry and become a prominent figure in the world of sports. Drake was so influential in Toronto that he was named the Toronto Raptors ambassador. In some way or shape, Drake has ties with all the Toronto professional sports teams, whether the Blue Jays, Toronto Maples, or the Raptors; these sports organizations know his name.

Drake gave me a crazy idea when he announced his OVO NFL collaboration, where he would have his owl logo on all 32 NFL teams’ apparel. Drake’s OVO collaboration gave me the concept of him creating his professional team and calling them the Toronto Owls. Yes, I am well aware of the CFL, the Canadian Football League, but the league has averaged at least 20,000 spectators per game every season since 1963. In comparison, the average attendance in the NFL is 69,389.
