This was an event that I had been looking forward to for months, with anxiety only heightening as the days leading up to the event went by. I put a ton of pressure on myself to ensure that I make it to this event in one piece — my anxiety disorder be damned.
As a kid, there’s no question that I was in the top percentile of Pink Power Ranger fans around the world. I watched every episode after preschool. I had the full costume. I had action figures of every size. I had her morpher, her bow & arrow, her zord. To this day, I have the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie seared into my memory.
