International Pronouns Day
<p>Honoring all people’s requested pronouns is essential for their emotional wellness and, all too often, their physical safety as well. The pronoun issue is often seen as a uniquely transgender matter. But imagine how cisgender males and cisgender females feel if someone uses the wrong pronouns for them. If it’s a simple mistake, it’s easily corrected, but if it’s done maliciously, it’s bullying.</p>
<p>Since 2018, International Pronouns Day has been honored on the third Wednesday of October. It’s an opportunity to consider this issue's importance in modern life. <a href="https://pronouns.org/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Pronouns.org</a> spearheaded this movement, saying as follows:</p>
