Professor Piano’s best lesson

<p><em>The news headline from September 2018 in the Toronto Star said that not only had he been missing for a month in the Toronto streets, but in fact had been buried in another person’s grave. It was an example of how random life could show itself to be.</em></p>
<p><em>Scott Cushnie was well known as Professor Piano in music circles, having worked with Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks, toured with Aerosmith and created two incredible recordings of Boogie Woogie piano duets. Scott was also a regular at the restaurant where I was employed for most of my 20s.</em></p>
