Meet Polynesian Explorers in Ventura, Discover Chinese Art in Pasadena, and Learn Scrapbooking in Ontario

Ventura Village Harbor and Ventura Yacht Club brings sailing history to life with a visit from descendants reliving the Polynesian explorers maneuvering across the Pacific Ocean by canoe. The Hokule’a voyage canoe uses traditional wayfinding techniques without modern instruments. The modern-day reenactors sailed most recently from Morro Bay and arrived this past Wednesday and will remain at the Yacht Club on Saturday and Sunday, Oct 22.
