<p>For most of us who aren’t behind the scenes amidst the flurry of political campaigns, it’s something we only hear about secondhand. Something that’s treated with the same sense of urgency and sanctity as flossing one’s teeth or getting one’s cholesterol checked.</p>
<p>The infamous concession phone call.</p>
<p>Specifically, one placed by the loser to the winner. “Congratulating” the victor on a hard-fought race.</p>
