The Challenges of a Pioneer and How to Take on Risks
<p>Iam a designer by training for over 5+ years. During my undergrad as a fashion design student at FIT, I found my passion for sustainability and the biological resources produced by our very own planet. It got me to question whether we were designing for the right reasons. My agenda shifted towards how to design for the planet. How do we make an impact with our purpose as designers. How do we stand for something whilst still feeding consumerism?</p>
<p>Yes, consumerism isn’t a bad thing. Consumerism is our friend because it builds our economy. So, how do we create a circular economy? How do we eliminate waste? How do we change the narrative to design with future materials?</p>
