The True Nature of All Phenomena

This is a memory from my very early childhood.

I was using a small watering can, imitating my father, to water potted plants. As I was doing this, my father, who was watching nearby, smiled and said, “You should pour the water onto the soil, not the leaves.”

At that time, I didn’t fully understand the importance of the roots beneath the soil. I can’t be certain, but I believe my father must have later explained the significance of the roots to me.

Now, you might wonder why I’ve suddenly started with this episode. It’s because I want to write about the relationship between the visible and the invisible worlds.
