The True Nature of All Phenomena

<p>This is a memory from my very early childhood.</p> <p>I was using a small watering can, imitating my father, to water potted plants. As I was doing this, my father, who was watching nearby, smiled and said, &ldquo;You should pour the water onto the soil, not the leaves.&rdquo;</p> <p>At that time, I didn&rsquo;t fully understand the importance of the roots beneath the soil. I can&rsquo;t be certain, but I believe my father must have later explained the significance of the roots to me.</p> <p>Now, you might wonder why I&rsquo;ve suddenly started with this episode.
