<p>It’s odd, our fascination with celebrities — is it not? Odd but undeniable, measurable even. Just look up market research on campaigns that feature a well-known celebrity to see sales numbers absolutely hypertrophied.</p>
<p>Speaking of which, Drew Barrymore is having a moment now, isn’t she?</p>
<p>I recently saw her in a commercial for shampoo playing across at least a dozen tv floor modes while in Wal-mart the other day (don’t ask me what I was doing standing in a Wal-mart). She made a goofy, endearing face that cast a clear contrast against the other ‘serious’ haircare models, and it was quite pleasant to watch.</p>
