The Contradiction in the Admonitions Papyrus is Evidence for The Hebrew Bible

<p>There have been a number of books and papers pointing out the similarities of the Egyptian Papyrus Leiden 344 or as commonly known as &ldquo;Admontions of an Egyptian Sage&rdquo; and the plagues of the Hebrew Bible. This was first noted by Immanuel Velikovsky in his book &ldquo;Ages in Chaos&rdquo; (London, 1952) One such example of the similarities is the papyrus refers to the nile turning to blood as it says in 2:10&nbsp;<em>&ldquo;Forsooth, the river is blood&hellip;&rdquo;</em>&nbsp;In addition it says in 2:5&ndash;6&nbsp;<em>&ldquo;Forsooth (men&rsquo;s) hearts are violent. Plague is throughout the land. Blood is everywhere. Death is not lacking&hellip;..&rdquo;</em>&nbsp;Now these are quite interesting parallels to the plagues mentioned in the Book of Exodus. However I want to focus on a parallel that has sometimes been overlooked. The egyptologist David Rohl points this out in his book &ldquo;Exodus Myth or History?&rdquo; Published St. Louis Park MN 2015. David Rohl writes that many Egyptologists today dismiss the papyrus as being historical. Most notably Miriam Lictheim who wrote in her book &ldquo;Ancient Egyptian Literature&rdquo; pg. 150 and quoting the scholar S.
