OOTD: Home from the Hospital

Well. That was a weird weekend. Days 33 to 35 of my 100 day project were spent in a hospital gown.

Today, I feel great. Turns out that in addition to everything else that was going on, I had a UTI I wasn’t aware of. So, three days of IV antibiotics later I feel better (even though I didn’t really know I felt bad, if that makes sense.)

And now I know for sure that I have a nice, strong heart. It was tested in a dozen different ways. I’m also pretty sure that I have some sort of endocrine problem that I’ll have to spend the next few weeks trying to figure out.

That means four finger pricks a day, for glucose testing. And keep track of my heart rate and how it relates to my sugar level. Because apparently I had both a fast heart rate and low blood sugar that lead to the whole episode.
