Since My Divorce, My Life Has Gone To Hell
<p>I’m in my car, shaking after going to refill my prescriptions.</p>
<p>My insurance changed. It’s now $500 to refill my son’s Epi-Pen. Sorry, to refill the <em>generic</em> version of an Epi-Pen.</p>
<p>Add it to the list of everything that’s gone to complete hell in the last two years of my life.</p>
<p>I did loads of research about divorce and its effects on children. I’m not a spontaneous person; the end of my marriage was years in the works.</p>
<p>Everyone considering divorce has Googled it. There are loads of tales of people (<em>mostly women</em>) extolling the joy they feel without their shitty spouse. I believed it because I couldn’t breathe and it was the only lifeline I had left.</p>
