Noticing in Spain and Italy

<h2><strong>No screens on windows</strong></h2> <p>I&rsquo;ve never thought to ask any of my European-residing pals why there are no screens on windows, on doors. Are there fewer insects in Europe? I can&rsquo;t recall any mosquitos, ahh&mdash; the dream! Or are folks more inviting, sharing space with critters?</p> <h2><strong>Smoking</strong></h2> <p>It is more socially acceptable to smoke in Western Europe than it is in the U.S. Outdoor patios and restaurants come prepared &mdash; ashtrays on every table.
