Nobody is Perfect

Pretty sure most have heard that phrase before…Nobody, not a single human, is perfect. Are we where we should be at this very moment: yes! God is in charge of everything. Of the two souls in each human, the animal soul, residing in the emotions, and the divine soul, residing in the intellect, we should strive to work most in our divine soul.

In Kabbalah, our divine soul at the moment of death ascends to heaven, is judged by God if it has learned what it must, and if not, God duplicates that divine soul and sends it back to earth to continue learning. A common way of helping us to understand this foundation of the Jewish faith is a lit candle transfers its entire essence over to the next candle when you use it to light the next candle…(paraphrase of Rabbi Yisrael Levine’s discussion… https://www.chabad.org/1320145#utm_medium=app&utm_source=iOS&utm_campaign=jewishtv_app

Website
