Four Nights in Edinburgh

We didn’t sleep well in Inverness. While the Air BnB was nice, the area we were staying in gave off weird vibes, and I found it difficult to relax enough to fall asleep. Chase was suffering through the worst of a cold and he woke up at 5, unable to fall asleep again.

Eventually we just quit trying and got up despite the early hour to search out some breakfast at the train station.

Important side note: our bags were truly, miserably heavy. The one-mile walk we had to the train station felt more like three, and both of our backs were struggling. Perhaps my most helpful tip I can offer for any long term travel: pack as light as you can. Pack what you normally would then get rid of half of it, then do it again. That’s genuinely all you need.

Website
