Thailand — First night in Bangkok, Thailand
<p>My first night in Bangkok was not a great start.</p>
<p>I got a ‘Hong Kong’ feeling on my first night in Bangkok. I made my first visit to Hong Kong after spending a week in laid-back Bali, and I found Hong Kong to be overpowering. I felt I had made the same mistake with Bangkok. I had come from the relaxed and laid-back town of Luang Prabang (ຫລວງພະບາງ/ຫຼວງພະບາງ), Laos, into the madness of the large city of Bangkok.</p>
<p>My base for the next few days was Lohas Suites Sukhumvit by SUPERHOTEL, 75 Sukhumvit 2, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110. On my first night, I decided to go to dinner at The Great Kabab Factory, Majestic Grande Hotel (12 Sukhumvit soi 2), Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110.</p>
