Brown is the New Black
<p>Texas has a cruel and demented Governor, Greg Abbott, and Attorney General, Ken Paxton (of anti-abortion fame). They not only support Trump and MAGA, but they are now supporting killing poor women and children trying to cross the Rio Grande in hopes of a life. They know they won’t be welcome here, but only death and cruelty lie behind, as well as ahead of them. Cruel dictators have taken over their countries, and they have nowhere to go.</p>
<p>In my younger days, I made frequent trips to Mexico. I learned to speak Spanish to a painful degree. I planned to retire in Mexico when I reached that age.</p>
