<p>Black hair is so amazing; it can defy gravity. Many children learn this at a young age, picking out their afros in the mirror and possibly experimenting with different styles. It's remarkable to see all the shapes black hair can hold and consider the cultural traditions they represent. However, it’s also true that in America, many people fail to see the beauty of black hair and instead shun natural hairstyles, labeling curly hair textures as “bad hair.” Consequently, Black people who wear natural hairstyles often experience discrimination that impedes their ability to access <a href="https://www.fuqua.duke.edu/duke-fuqua-insights/ashleigh-rosette-research-suggests-bias-against-natural-hair-limits-job" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">employment</a> and educational opportunities or receive equal treatment under the law.</p>
