A Castle and Museums Galore
<p>On my second day in Dublin (if you missed it, you can read about my first day <a href="https://medium.com/globetrotters/a-very-literary-day-in-irelands-capital-6d771c7cabf0" rel="noopener">here</a>), I decided it was time to see one of its most popular sites: Dublin Castle.</p>
<p>The medieval section of the castle dates back to the 1200s. However, very little of this original castle still survives today — I believe only the stone tower which you can see in both the photo above and the one below. The rest of the building is an interesting hodgepodge of different architectural styles as new additions were built through the years.</p>
