What I Wish I Knew Before Moving to NYC
<p>Imoved to New York fresh out of high school. I knew relatively little about the city and not a single person who lived there. It was the most exciting and terrifying thing I’ve ever done.</p>
<p>Prior to moving, I spent months researching which college to attend and the best option for housing. Reddit and Youtube proved to be very helpful. Still, many of the tips I found while scouring the internet were confusing, outdated, or just trying to sell me something.</p>
<p>Nearly every list of “NYC Life Hacks” focused on all the walking you would do and all the money you would spend. This is all true, but there is so much more to it than $7 lattes and 20,000 steps a day.</p>
