What I Wish I Knew Before Moving to NYC

<p>Imoved to New York fresh out of high school. I knew relatively little about the city and not a single person who lived there. It was the most exciting and terrifying thing I&rsquo;ve ever done.</p> <p>Prior to moving, I spent months researching which college to attend and the best option for housing. Reddit and Youtube proved to be very helpful. Still, many of the tips I found while scouring the internet were confusing, outdated, or just trying to sell me something.</p> <p>Nearly every list of &ldquo;NYC Life Hacks&rdquo; focused on all the walking you would do and all the money you would spend.
