Moving to London in your 20s

There are many reasons why you may have moved to London — maybe you secured a new job, are studying, or taking some time to travel and explore the world (jealous!) Maybe you have family and friends in London, or like me, you’re moving to London solo — leaving friends and family and the life you knew, behind.
Below are a few lessons I’ve learned after living in London for four years. I’ve navigated life here as a student, professional, single, in a relationship, during a breakup (during lockdown- yikes!)…you name it. I’ve had to start life from the ground up. It wasn’t always easy, but over time I made friends, found a place to call home, and began to feel truly happy in London.
