Microdosing mushrooms isn’t for everybody.
<p>Microdosing “magic” mushrooms (psilocybin) is making its way out of the dark taboo closet and into the daylight.</p>
<p>Moms are openly talking about how <a href="https://www.npr.org/2022/09/13/1121599369/thousands-of-moms-are-microdosing-with-mushrooms-to-ease-the-stress-of-parenting" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">it makes them better mothers</a>, studies <a href="https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-021-01811-4#:~:text=Microdosers%20were%20generally%20similar%20to,anxiety%2C%20and%20stress%20across%20gender." rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">are reporting excellent outcomes</a> for the treatment of anxiety and depression, people are openly talking about it on social media channels, and places are even publicly selling mushroom chocolate bars (<a href="https://nypost.com/2022/10/15/nyc-smoke-shops-are-selling-magic-mushroom-candy-bars/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">like this smoke shop in NYC)</a>.</p>
<p><strong><em>While psilocybin, at a microdose level (about .1-.2grams), is arguably one of the safest medicines you can consume (</em></strong><a href="https://psychedelic.support/resources/psilocybin-and-ssris/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank"><strong><em>it’s even considered generally safe with SSRIs</em></strong></a><strong><em>), it doesn’t mean it’s for everyone.</em></strong></p>
