Barca in the Post Messi Era
<p>Sunday evening (29th Aug 21) was an emotional rollercoaster for FC Barcelona (FCB) and Lionel Messi fans with both Barcelona and PSG playing their league matches at 5 pm and 8:45 pm CET, registering 2–1 and 2–0 wins respectively.</p>
<p>The new Barcelona has been interesting to watch. Without their talisman Messi after nearly 2 decades, the team evidently lacked creativity through the centre. FC Barcelona, which has been known for its tiki taka eccentricity and creativity through its midfield, was implementing a fairly standard approach of crossing through the wings and pushing long air balls on to the forwards.</p>
