Me and Friend’s Big Day in Melbournes CBD

I’ve known my friend for going on nine years now and we hadn’t ever met in real life, our friendship had blossomed thanks to the world of online video games. So when I got the news they were coming to town I offered to take them around the city for the day, and jump right into the beating heart of Melbourne: The Central Business District (CBD). I then realised after my offer had been accepted that I really didn't know where I would take them, I’ve lived 20 minutes east of the city my whole life but I don’t know any good tourist spots. I’ve never exactly explored the city I’ve just sorta dealt with the business I had there and went home but luckily my buddy kinda just wanted to walk around and find cool stuff and didn’t need a rigid schedule of landmarks and historical sights. We began our journey at Victoria’s State Library because it was close to where they were staying and they could make it there on their own.
