<p>Ahead of <em>Loki Season 2</em>, here’s an unofficial ranking of only the “Multiverse Saga’s” best.</p>

<h2>10. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)</h2>

<p>Although not as impactful a film as it’s predecessor, <em>Black Panther: Wakanda Forever</em> manages to juggle multiple responsibilities rather well. Aside from needing to entertain to the level of MCU standards, it also had to establish an acceptable continuation for the characters of Wakanda beyond the late Chadwick Boseman’s portrayal of the titular hero. His tragic and untimely passing also meant that the cast and crew had to muster the strength to continue without him. This created another complicated responsibility of needing to grieve and honor their friend and our T’Challa. Ryan Cooglar harnessed these emotions and utilized them throughout the filmmaking process. He accomplished giving audiences a well-rounded and emotionally resonant sequel, despite being bogged down at times by the studio’s obsessive world-building and particularities. Shuri’s Black Panther was acceptable, effectively balanced with Namor’s powerful introduction to the universe. It may be flawed but it certainly was a highlight of the current saga rather than a detriment to it.</p>
<h2>9. Hawkeye (2021)</h2>

<p>There was still an invigorated energy surrounding the MCU going into 2022, a lot of that had to do with the early TV success Marvel was having. In fact it wasn’t until <em>Ms. Marvel</em> (2022) came out that it felt like the momentum was fleeting. <em>Hawkeye</em> falls under a similar category to <em>Wakanda Forever</em> in that it was flawed but forgiving. What Marvel has really been lacking are the monuments of quality that riddled the “Infinity Saga.” <em>Hawkeye</em> stands out as a positive for its inventiveness in character development.
