MARO Ecosystem : A Development Update

Having experienced recent events, we have recognized the need to provide a summary of our ongoing activities and to share them more proactively. The following led to the writing of this blog.

Introduction

MARO operates under the motto of “Build for billions”. This signifies our commitment to handle vast amounts of data, popularize blockchain, and to construct a large-scale ecosystem based upon it. To achieve this goal, we are developing and operating DAPPs on the MARO blockchain, paving the way for numerous individuals to participate.

One project that began with the inception of the MARO blockchain is the ‘Acorn Protocol’. The initial objective of this project was to onboard users through a coalition of social networks. However, we expanded this vision to encompass a broader digital economy. The premise behind this is that the growth of Acorn Protocol users will trigger an overall transaction increase on the MARO blockchain. This growth will spur a rise in various products within the ecosystem, an influx of relevant developers, and an uptick in transaction volume, subsequently enhancing the incentive for operating blockchain nodes.

Currently, Our primary focus is to maintain the security of the MARO blockchain while further enhancing its scalability in various ways. Moreover, developing and reliably operating dapps (currently Acorn Protocol) on the MARO blockchain to expand on-chain users is a pivotal goal. Concurrently, we’re putting efforts into adjusting the blockchain node operation fees to incrementally refine the incentive mechanism for node operators.
