<p>From the time the pink confetti blows out at our gender reveal parties, we start getting groomed to prioritize the male gaze — to make attracting it or averting it the absolute center of our lives.</p>
<p>Our comfort, our health, and even our physical safety must take a backseat to men’s all-consuming stare, and we waste a large chunk of our limited time on Earth focusing on the eyes of men.</p>
